Mission Statement

At Reko Robotics, we believe in inspiring young minds through the exciting world of robotics and STEM education. Our program is designed for children ages 6 to 10, providing them with the opportunity to play, explore, and learn by building and programming LEGO robotic kits. Through hands-on experiences, kids develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for innovation that will benefit them for a lifetime.

To enhance this learning experience, we utilize the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential curriculum, which introduces children to narrative-based problem-solving through relatable, real-world challenges. This curriculum includes 10 interactive units aligned with national elementary education standards, each consisting of five to eight 45-minute STEAM lessons. With over 100+ hours of engaging content, students strengthen their understanding of STEM while also integrating language arts and math concepts.

During each lesson, students brainstorm, experiment, and develop creative solutions through trial and error, all while collaborating with their peers. This hands-on approach fosters teamwork, resilience, and confidence, helping children grow into independent thinkers and problem solvers. At Reko Robotics, we believe that learning through play is the key to sparking curiosity and shaping the next generation of innovators!

What are Robotic Lego Kits?

LEGO robotic kits, such as the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Set, offer an interactive way for kids to engage with technology and engineering. These kits combine colorful LEGO bricks, sensors, and motors with an easy to use coding platform, allowing children to build and program their own robotic creations. By experimenting with these kits, kids learn fundamental STEM concepts, including engineering, coding, and teamwork, in a fun and engaging manner.

The importance of First LEGO League Explore

Reko Robotics proudly supports the First LEGO League Explore program, an initiative designed to introduce young children to the basics of STEM and robotics. This program encourages kids to collaborate, problem solve and think creatively while completing hands on challenges. It fosters teamwork, resilience, and a passion for discovery, setting the foundation for future success in STEM fields.

Why STEM Enrichment Matters for Young Learners

Early exposure to STEM education is crucial in shaping young learners’ cognitive and social development. At ages 6 to 10, children are naturally curious and eager to explore how things work. By engaging in STEM activities, they enhance their problem-solving abilities, build confidence in their skills, and develop perseverance in tackling challenges. STEM enrichment also nurtures collaboration and communication, essentials for success in any future path.
